What does transparency mean at gotRoasted?
We do not stop at the country. Where available, we also show farm, farmer, altitude, processing, importer, and roast date.
Is the coffee roasted fresh?
Yes. We work in small batches and ship coffee fresh. The roast date is printed on the bag.
Which coffee works for espresso?
Usually the rounder, sweeter, denser coffees. That is why the shop has an espresso entry point.
Which coffee works for filter?
Filter is especially good for clearer, more precise coffees where origin and processing show more distinctly.
Why are some coffees more expensive?
Price depends on green coffee cost, availability, rarity, processing, and lot size. As a micro-roaster, we do not buy the cheapest volume coffees.
